The Wigan Vets Completed their leisurely 16 Mile 8 Public House Bike Ride on Saturday 7th July.

They started at the White Lion in Wheelton with "refreshment" stops along the way.

One of the Stops was at the White Bear in Adlington were they collected a Cheque off Landlord Martin Winstanley for £1260.

They completed the ride late in the Evening at Sams Bar Wigan.

Martin cycled the Length of the Leeds Liverpool Canal along with friend David.

Altogether the Wigan Vets organised by Malcolm Holland and Saints Legend Chris Joynt will have raised over 2k.

It just shows you can still have the "craic" and raise funds for great causes!
