The organising committee of the Inaugural Pride of St Helens Awards are pleased to announce that St Helens College will be sponsoring  the St Helens College Outstanding Academic Achievement Award.  Julia Callaghan, Business Development Manager at St Helens College said “We are delighted to be taking part in the Inaugural Pride Of St Helens Awards.  St Helens has many talented people and as a town we have a lot to be proud of.  We feel that the winner of the Outstanding Achievement Award should be someone who has achieved in the face of adversity, who has had to work extra hard and may have had to make sacrifices along the way. The individual may have overcome challenges or barriers in order to succeed. We look forward to receiving nominations for this prestigious award”.

Steve Prescott said “We would like to thank the College for stepping up to the plate and sponsoring this award! They share the SPF & media partner St Helens Star vision of highlighting the outstanding academic achievements of students and pupils throughout the town!
