Up's and Down's

The last 2 weeks have been very contrasting to say the least.

During the first week, my training was going really well. I managed to get over my virus and the miles were clocking up. Myself and Mike (Denning) managed our longest run so far. We did 16.5 miles in very bad weather.Don't get me wrong, it  wasn't easy and I found it really draining. It was pouring down with rain and it was freezing, but we were overjoyed to get the mileage out.

Then, unfortunately last week, I suffered from excruciating stomach pains and was admitted to Whiston Hospital for 2 days.
I was having morphine injections and was nil by mouth, so it has really took its toll on me. It wiped me out.

Since then, I have been having serious doubts about whether or not I should be pushing myself so much for this Marathon.
I have been ignoring warning signs, and I have learnt the hard way. I am now back in training, but I am gradually building the
miles back up.

I am awaiting the results from my scan now, so its fingers crossed.

I guess I will have these Up's and Down's
