We are pleased to announce that this year’s Lancashire Lance Sportive will take place at 09:00 on Sunday 26th April 2020.
This year the Lancashire Lanes Sportive will be in memory of the Steve Prescott Foundation Trustee Steve White who last year, sadly lost his long battle against Giloblastoma. Steve was a keen cyclist, taking part in LEJOG three times and many of the SPF events as well as providing helping with the support and logistics, he is sadly missed but will never be forgotten.
The route will be similar to the previous year’s, with the much look forward to Thatto Cycles Beans on Toast Stop being held at the same venue as two years ago Brindle St Josephs Community Hall.
In addition to the 75 mile route we are also including a 45 Mile Ride which will also include Beans on Toast for the cyclist but this will be served at the end at Rainford High School.
All funds raised from the Lancashire Lanes will go towards the Steve Prescott Foundation and we would like to thank Phil & Vicky Thomas from Aintree Osteopaths for once again the SPF to continue the great name and heritage of the Lancashire Lanes.
