This weekend will see 5 Events plus a cheque presentation to the SPF.

It is breathtaking and so very much appreciated that fundraising is taking place for the SPF from one side of the country to the other.

Sean Long a member of Worthys Fitness Centre in Wigan is attempting to complete a gruelling 6 hour boothamp with a fundraising target of £1000.

The supporters behind the Steve Prescott Man of Steel campaign are holding get together over in Hull. Special thanks to Graham Middleton, Alison Watson & Debs Fitzgerald for getting this fantastic initiative off the ground. Over 140 tickets have been sold and they have some great auction and raffle items on offer.

Patrick McNaughton, Leam Fox and friends are staging a race night at the Widnes Select Stadium on Saturday Evening. As well as great raffle prizes they will be auctioning off a rare "hybrid" St Helens/Widnes shirt kindly donated by Saints fan Mrs Bell courtesy of SPF Ambassador Paul Sculthorpe.

The St Helens Darts League are staging the St Helens Darts Classic throughout the day at Our ladys in St Helens. All the entrance fee and raffle will go to the SPF. Special Thanks to Sandra & Neil Devlin for their continued support.

Over in the west side of the country the Lancashire Rugby League supporters associaation are holding their Annual Dinner at the Doric Hotel Blackpool. Special guest for the Evening and speaker is Paul Sculthorpe. Gratitude to Mark Evans and the rest of the Lancashire Supporters federation committee.

Finally the SPF at 12.45 tomorrow will be presented with a cheque from their fundraising efforts on December 10th. At the moment we are not in a position to disclose the amount but it is anticipated to be "substantial". Once again our gratitude to all of Thatto Heath ARLFC especially Buffs Promotions & the legendary "Pez"
