Preparation for the Askvas Walk for Precky in association with Container Cabins is nearing completion. The walkers are in training for this gruelling challenge as they prepare for sore feet, sore legs, blisters and extreme fatigue.   This incredible challenge is in memory of Steve Prescott MBE, a truly inspirational person whose legacy will continue through the Steve Prescott Foundation a registered charity which supports the Christie Hospital, the Rugby League Benevolent Fund and the Oxford Intestinal Transplant Unit.

The team of walkers include former rugby league stars Lee Briers of Warrington Wolves, Saint Helen's Tommy Martyn and Paul Sculthorpe, MBE and retired FIFA referee Mark Halsey aim to complete 900 miles in just 12 days.  The walkers set off on 5th May from Lands End reaching John O'Groats on 16th May.

The Steve Prescott Foundation wishes to sincerely thank the principle walk sponsors Askvas and Container Cabins for their incredible support.  Also supporting the walk are Wedi, Adele Carr Financial Recruitment, DSD Sales, Rothwell Electrical and Galaxy Insulations along with contributions from Robinson, Consumer Credit Solutions, Econoloft.

Paul Smith of Askvas said ‘it’s a privilege to be involved with the Steve Prescott Foundation as a tribute to the inspirational Steve Prescott.’  The Liverpool based Container Cabins are enthused by their new association with the SPF.

Peter Kindness of Wedi says he is delighted to support such a demanding challenge and wishes all the walkers the best of luck.
