We are thrilled to announce that the immensely popular Johnny Vegas Celebrity Bowls event will make its triumphant return on August 9th, 2025, at the Ruskin St. Helens in St Helens. This year’s event marks a significant milestone, celebrating the 10th anniversary of a beloved tradition.
In a testament to community spirit, two of St Helens' finest companies, PSD Vehicle Rental who are the Main Sponsors and Bartons Pickles, will be the associate sponsors for this prestigious occasion. PSD Vehicle Rental celebrates its 25th anniversary, while Barton’s Pickles proudly marks an incredible 120 years in business, we are honoured and privileged to be putting on this family fun day with them both.

Liverpool FC #MainStand 13.00 Saturday 6th Sept 2025
This is more than an abseil, you will also receive the following experiences!
- Climb up the steps to the top of the Main Stand roof.
- Enjoy stunning panoramic views of the city of Liverpool and its iconic landmarks, The River Mersey and beyond from one of the highest viewpoints in Merseyside.
- Lean back over the edge of the Main Stand and begin your 100ft abseil down its side.
- Go past the Club’s huge official crest as you descend.
- Souvenir wristband.
- Free entrance to The Liverpool FC Story Museum worth £10 for adults, £6 for children.

Join Us for the SPF Three National Peaks Cycle Challenge!
Are you ready for the ultimate challenge? We are excited to announce the SPF Three National Peaks Cycle Challenge, taking place from September 11th to 15th! In true Steve Prescott spirit, we invite cyclists and mountaineers to take part in this incredible adventure.
Itinerary:
SPF Three National Peaks Cycle Challenge
Dates: September 12th - 14th
- Day One: Climb Snowdon - Cycle 161 miles
- Day Two: Cycle 34 miles - Climb Scafell - Cycle 125 miles
- Day Three: Cycle 117 miles - Climb Ben Nevis
Travel to Snowdon on September 11th and return from Ben Nevis on September 15th. Please note that the itinerary is subject to alteration.

The Steve Prescott Foundation are looking for great supporters to take part in the SPF Improve Your Fitness Challenge throughout the Month of February.
This is to Walk, Run, or Cycle at least 2 miles every day to make a total of 56 miles and raise a vital £56 for the SPF and its chosen beneficiaries The Christie and Rugby League Benevolent Fund.
